We are proud to announce that Secured Title Solutions, LLC, an independent audit firm, did on September 10, 2015 issue a Certificate of Compliance confirming Preferred Title Company maintains policies and procedures which are compliant with the “Title Insurance and Settlement Company Best Practices” set forth by the American Land Title Association (ALTA). These Best Practices were designed to help title service providers establish policies and procedures which the title settlement service providers generally must exercise to protect lenders and consumers, while ensuring a positive and compliant real estate settlement experience. Since 1996 PREFERRED has maintained all the business practices provided for in the ALTA 7-Pillars of Best Practices in conducting the day-to-day business of real estate settlement, and though these Best Practices are strictly voluntary, Preferred Title Company has chosen to ratify and embrace each of the Best Practices on behalf of our customers in their real estate transactions.
We hereby Pledge to continually:
- Adopt new business practices and tools which will enhance the settlement experience for all parties to the transaction;
- Continue our employee training and education initiatives, to provide quality service and to maintain regulatory compliance; and
- Maintain written policies and procedures to comply with the Best Practices.
